PS5 Bypass
Before you start: make sure your Zen firmware is current. If you haven't done that yet, follow the Full Setup guide first, it takes two minutes.
The short version
Watch the video for the full walkthrough. In short: your Zen connects to the PS5, and an authentication controller stays linked to satisfy the PS5's security checks while your main controller plugs into the Zen's A1 port. The video shows the exact wiring order and Zen settings so your connection stays stable and never drops mid game.
Follow the connection order exactly as shown in the video. Plugging things in the wrong order is the number one cause of "controller disconnected" errors on PS5.
